the pilsberry dough-boy......

a friend of mine and student of women met a girl at starbucks.



she worked behind the counter at 5bucks and also ran a small bakery supplying catered treats for weddings and meetings.



my friend and i were discussing ways of eliciting responses in people non-verbally and he got an idea in his head, unbeknownst to me.



my friend and i decided to get a starbucks one warm summer`s afternoon and his girl was working behind the counter.



he walked up and smiled at the girl and said, "hey, it`s the pilsberry dough-girl!" quickly poking himself in the stomach as he said it and made the little giggle sound like on the commercial.



she turned bright red and i thought she was going to pass out right there......or have a religious experience.



my friend, who`s is a little shy, missed her response because he turned his head just as he fired off the trigger......



i was standing not five feet away and caught the whole magical thing.



when we sat down i gave him a friendly jab for not getting the payoff for all his courage, but he learned a valuable lesson about the power of gestures, anchors, and the strength of the horny woman`s mind.



so what did my friend do?



knowing she was a baker, he chose theme that was bakery related, the pilsberry dough-boy.



he then chose a poke in the stomach as an intimate gesture, a thing he and she would like to share possibly.



then he made the comment and the gesture and the giggle.



boom, she went into the stratosphere.



what next?



quietly and calmly continue the conversation as if little happened and then GET.HER.PHONE.NUMBER. at some convenient time while you are still in the glow of the reaction.



now why did the girl do that?



my freind put together a series of triggers for things the girl was familiar with combined with a strongly sexual gesture and displayed it right in front of her.



her reaction told me she had been fantasizing about him....and that he should proceed in closing the deal.



here i will say that, for most men, the closing is the hardest part.



they learn to elicit responses, get phone numbers or e-mails, but still can`t get the girl`s legs moving out the door.
